Immagine in Cornice (Picture in a Frame): Live in Italy 2006
Pearl Jam
Rhino
Probably the closest a fan will get to going behind the scenes at a Pearl Jam show, this DVD is part documentary, part concert film. The twist is that the entire movie was shot during the band’s 2006 five-show stint in Italy, where the group claims they’ve performed their most interesting shows. The problem mainly lies in the song selection; it’s mostly split between last year’s self-titled release and their oldest material. Also, one other gripe, a normal Pearl Jam show runs around two and a half hours. This movie — off stage moments included — is only 90 minutes.
