Tangible Mystery, work by Amy Falstrom, will hold a closing reception at the Harrison Gallery Aug. 4 from 6-10 p.m. Falstrom comes from a new generation of abstract expressionist painters who incorporate iconography and images into their work. “My images are inspired by moments of being in natural environments,” Falstrom writes. “They are based on memories and impressions of different qualities of light, weather, color and atmosphere ...” Also on view will be work by Scott Grow and Carla Knopp in the Gallery Annex.
