
Joseph BruchacThe 17th Etheridge Knight Festival of the Arts celebration of spoken word arts will feature storyteller and writer Joseph Bruchac, a member of the Abenaki Tribe, who weaves tales about the Adirondacks and the Native peoples of the Northeastern Woodlands.
Bruchac will present programs, including a performance of his play Cannibal Monster, April 5 at 1 p.m. at the Eiteljorg Museum, then at 7:30 p.m. at the IUPUI University Library’s Lilly Auditorium, 755 W. Michigan St. A second performance of Cannibal Monster will be April 6 at 3 p.m. at the Lockerbie Central United Methodist Church, 237 East St. All of these events are free.
