DVD: Too Tough To Die: A Tribute To Johnny Ramone

Too Tough To Die focuses on the Rob Zombie-organized Ramones 30th anniversary tribute show in 2004. The heavyweights that perform in the film are impressive (especially the Ramones tribute “super group” featuring Tim Armstrong, Henry Rollins, Steve Jones, Brett Gurwitz and Dicky Barrett, as well as C.J. and Marky Ramone). The actual documentary aspects of the film, however, are lacking. While the interviews are good, they seem incomplete and take a back seat to the concert footage.
