Cigarette taxes

Vice taxes (Reader Poll, www.nuvo.net). While we’re at it, add a tax to alcohol to help our fellow Hoosiers and small business owners with substance abuse problems. And add a tax to luxury vehicles to help those who can’t afford decent car insurance. And add a tax to animal furs to help ... well, I don’t know. I really am all for vice taxes, and Indiana does need to raise their cigarette tax, but where do we stop before we have socialized insurance?
