Ball's amazing Celtic harp

Patrick Ball

An unforgettable night of storytelling and Celtic harp music is in store April 5, when Patrick Ball returns to Indy as part of the Storytelling Arts of Indiana series, presenting Celtic Harp and Story at 8 p.m.

Ball is one of the premier Celtic harp players in the world today, and a captivating storyteller in the Irish tradition. He has recorded nine instrumental and three spoken-word albums, which have earned national awards in both the music and spoken-word categories.

With Celtic Harp and Story, Ball rekindles the fire and wonder of an evening of Irish storytelling, spinning the marvelous old tales of wit and enchantment, and playing the ancient, brass-strung harp of Ireland.

The event takes place at the Indiana History Center, 450 W. Ohio St. Tickets are $18 in advance or $21 at the door. Call 317-232-1882 or go to www.storytellingarts.org. n
