Eden 2 returns to Talbott Street to benefit the Damien Center’s fight against HIV/AIDS, showcasing top electro-house and trance DJs and supporting the alternative community.
Eden Promotions team Chris Conner and DJ Copper Top will present Talbott’s original club DJ (Wayne Hill), Chicago’s No. 1 trance DJ (M Project) and Indianapolis’ own DJ Jackola. DJ Copper Top, who will also spin, says clubgoers can expect a night of electro beats and progressive trance music.
Wayne’s extensive spinning background and dance hits knowledge, combined with M Project’s experience having mixed alongside international DJs like Ferry Corsten at Chicago’s Vision dance club, will make for an assorted alternative music night that will draw a diverse crowd.
“This is the kind of music you see people singing along to on the dance floor,” Copper Top says. “I expect only happy vibes at this event and a diverse lineup to keep people dancing until 3 a.m.”
For the second consecutive year, proceeds will aid the Damien Center, Indianapolis’ leader in HIV/AIDS prevention and care.
“Although we have come a long way in our fight against HIV/AIDS in the world, we are not even close to the level of treatment or cure to stop referring to [it] as a crisis akin to a large natural disaster that never stops,” Copper Top says.
Co-promoter Conner hopes the long-term effect of these events will make an impact on Indianapolis, not only financially for the Damien Center, but also on HIV/AIDS community awareness.
