A Fringe feast

Ever eaten dinner in an alley? Here’s a chance to do just that — and it doesn’t involve dumpster diving. For $30, on Aug. 12 you can treat yourself to a three-course dinner, live music and a variety of Fringe Festival entertainment, including buskers and street performers in the alley off Massachusetts Avenue behind the Chatham Tap, Metro and Scholars Inn. “
The Longest Dinner” will be served at one, long table as a benefit to support IndyFringe and the Cultural Trail. The alley is part of the Cultural Trail’s northeast corridor, and the Fringe Festival runs Aug. 22-31.
