'Us By Numbers'

Doug Arnholter of Broad Ripple Art & Design has conceived a huge public art project intended to create paint-by-number murals throughout the state, country and the world. The culmination, he says, will be a massive mosaic of art showing what we can create when we synergize and work together.

The paint-by-numbers template will be created by converting digital photographs to a paint-by-numbers format and printing the template on canvas rolls 4 feet high and 25 feet long.

Us By Numbers takes its first step as part of First Friday events April 4 at the Murphy Art Building in Fountain Square, with a Paint Out event from 5-9 p.m.
