Jim Poyser's weekly column, Haiku News, has appeared in NUVO for almost ten years. These news and culture haiku have also been published in the Bloomington Voice, the Illinois Times and the Chicago Reader. A feature he wrote about his adventures in writing news haiku received a statewide journalism award. He teaches haiku workshops in area schools.
