Michelle Obama will be in Indianapolis on Wednesday, April 16th. The event will be free and open to the public.

Marion College 2008 Midwest Cycling Classic (Collegiate)

The campus of Marian College served as the backdrop for the 12th annual Midwest Cycling Classic and, with the weather cooperating in 2008, the event was a complete success.

The Marian College Knights performed extremely well on their home course in front of a raucous crowd that included numerous students, faculty, staff, and even a pep band.

Memorial for Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy

A memorial at Indianapolis Public School 27 marked the death of Civil Rights leader, Martin Luther King Jr., and former presidential hopeful, Robert F. Kennedy's famous speech that maintained peace and calm in Indianapolis in 1968 when news broke of King's assassination. Kennedy's wife, Ethel Kennedy and their son, Max, joined Indianapolis citizens on Friday, April 4, at the school gymnasium to pay tribute and remember the lives of two extraordinary men.
