I once heard that the average age of symphony-goer's is 80. Last night's Happy Hour at the Symphony proved that statistic was outdated! Perhaps it was the free food, desserts, coffee and other beverages that wheeled everyone in - young and old alike!

On Monday evening people came together at Clowes Memorial Hall to raise funds for programs working to prevent the spread of HIV and AIDS. This was the annual Spotlight event, in which 19 performing arts groups, media, catering companies, philanthropists, politicians and citizens donated time and talent to create an event strong enough to raise an estimated $400,000 for programs rooted in the understanding and prevention of HIV and AIDS.
