The National Endowment for the Humanities is making grants of $831,976 to several Indiana projects, including an award of $120,450 to the Indiana Humanities Council in Indianapolis to develop "an online marketplace of ideas" related to the humanities in Indiana, called Dynamic Indiana, as well as for a series of collaborative statewide programs set to begin in January 2010. The humanities help people to better understand themselves and their relationship to the communities to which they belong. NEH grants also went to projects in Fort Wayne, Muncie, Richmond and Bloomington.
