Its probably no news to most that the suicide rate from iraq war
veterans is up right now. Apparently the VA hospitals dont have enough
room for solders coming home and reporting suicidal thoughts from post
tramatic war syndrome and the jury is still out on why the hospitals
have done nothing to correct this. Personally I find this disgusting
and just another fine example of how the administration has failed the
american people.

For all the polititians sitting in their elabrote hand carved desks on the hill the war is merely a stack of papers, many speeches, a few amazon best sellers, and a bunch of people with access to the media that want to bitch about it, like myself
But take a moment to imagine the memories these solders come home with to think about and relive. Imagine having to pick up a blood soaked body, half that persons skull is on the other side of the interesection, large chunks of debri still stuck in their torso. And liters of blood staining the concrete around you. Now you have to take that body to their mother, father, sister, cousin, aunt, whoever. To that person you represent the death and destruction that surrounds them. If it wasnt for your government, that body wouldnt be a body. It would still be a living breathing person. Those people dont see george bush, condi, or ol' cheney. they see you. you recieve all of their hatred. What if that bomb that killed that person was set off by you. what if it was an accident? and this is any given day for a solder in iraq. These are all burdens that would bring any good person to their knees. If i had to see this i would probably pull the trigger on myself before i ever got on the plane ride home.
