For Throwback Thursday: Shots of a women's boxing exhibition during Golden Gloves 2013. No females on the card tonight - but a roster full of fighters is set for tonight's Golden Gloves bouts at Tyndall Armory!

John Bansch, retired Indianapolis Star sportswriter and the volunteer-run Indiana Golden Gloves board's publicity chair, offered the following preview of tonight's fights - the second week in a six tournament, which will culminate in championship matches on April 10 and 17:

Eight Open Division fights highlight a scheduled 17-bout card Thursday night in Week 2 action in the Indiana Golden Gloves tournament at Tyndall Armory. Among those boxing will be Steven Perry, who starts his quest for a third championship in the 141-pound class. Perry previously won the crown in 2011 and 2012. His foe Thursday is Zach Purdy. The program is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 ringside and $11 general admission.
