High-rise or hype? After a fast start, Market Square Partners, the high-rise developers planning to put twin towers on the MSA site, have sold less than half of the units (averaging $312,000 each) they expected. Do we really want Carmel-on-the-Circle? And does the city have a Plan B?

Christmas heroes. A locally made historical exhibit reminding Indiana residents of the Christmastime bravery of the U.S. soldiers in World War II is up at the Fountain Square Library until Jan. 22. Whiteland resident Hugh Ross, 78, developed The 12 Days of Christmas 1944 with the U.S. Army in France.
