Out of tune. Marty Hensley, who operates a Christian radio station out of his Greenfield home, has petitioned the FCC to leach his way into airtime on local high school and college stations. Hensley’s bully tactics are forcing schools to pay lawyers with money they don’t have to spare. Is this what Jesus would do?
Remembering the right way. The locally created “Americana” art and poetry exhibit and the traveling “Eyes Wide Open” display which appeared in Indianapolis last weekend both prove that art is more important than ever as a tool for enlightenment and change.
La Cage au Mitch. In a few different locations near downtown, parents are concerned with ex-convicts and former drug addicts from halfway houses sharing bus stops with IPS students. The city will need to address this situation as downtown becomes more of a residential choice for families.
