Thumbs up: Up a tree

A joint Indiana General Assembly Regulatory Flexibility Committee will hold a hearing at 10 a.m. Thursday in response to complaints about the butcher jobs utility companies routinely inflict on neighborhood trees. The committee will hear testimony from IPL, homeowners and arborists to determine whether the current regulations are fair or need to be changed. The hearing will take place in the House Chambers of the Indiana Statehouse, 200 W. Washington St.
