Thumbs up: getting real 

The Indiana Commission for Higher Education has proposed a six-point plan emphasizing graduation rates to make state universities more accountable. That’s good; even better is the commission’s recommendation to offer students two free years of tuition at Ivy Tech, regardless of family income. A plan like this one will accelerate attempts to upgrade the state’s workforce by providing training for students who aren’t sure whether a college experience is what they really want or need.
