Thumbs up: eCycling

To celebrate Earth Day, Computer Experts, Inc. and Virtual Scavengers coordinated the nation’s first large-scale ecycling event for a major office building – Chase Tower. eCycling refers to recycling electronic equipment that would otherwise be dumped in landfills where their hazardous wastes, such as lead and mercury, can contaminate groundwater. Equipment that can be recycled includes PCs, fax machines, copiers, monitors, keyboards, cell phones, printers, mice and Zip drives. Virtual Scavengers is a local nonprofit that recycles and refurbishes electronics. To learn more, visit or or call (317) 833-3000.
