Thumbs up: Designated drivers

One more thing for which to be thankful this fall: fewer intoxicated Colts fans on the road. Thanks to the Indy Express Bus, fans from Fishers and Carmel can leave the driving to someone else. The Central Indiana Regional Transportation Authority encourages Northsiders to take the express bus to all home games. On Sept. 16, it picks up at 11 a.m. for the 1 p.m. game against the Minnesota Vikings. The Carmel Meijer (at Pennsylvania and Carmel Drive) and Prairie View at Crosspoint in Fishers (northeast corner of 106th Street and Lantern Road) serve as the loading points — the same stops from which the Indy Express Bus commuter shuttles head Downtown on weekdays. Round-trip tickets are $10 in advance (pre-order online at IndyExpressBus.com) and $20 at the pick-up locations.
