Thumbs up: Bah Humbug

After just 24 years of service, the RCA Dome, aka Hoosier Dome, will be imploded Saturday morning so a new addition can be built on to the Convention Center. One thousand pounds of high-velocity dynamite will be used to bring what’s left of the Dome down. This event, however, will not be a defining moment of public catharsis similar to the implosion of Market Square Arena. The Dome’s location makes it difficult for people to get good views and the public is being discouraged from going downtown.
