Thumbs up: Accurate forecasting

For anyone in search of talking points to underscore the urgency of recognizing human-induced climate change: The American Meteorological Society just updated an informational paper on the subject. A few key samplings: 1) "Warming of the climate system now is unequivocal, according to many different kinds of evidence." 2) "Climate is always changing. However, many of the observed changes noted above are beyond what can be explained by the natural variability of the climate. It is clear from extensive scientific evidence that the dominant cause of the rapid change in climate of the past half century is human-induced increases in the amount of atmospheric greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide (CO2), chlorofluorocarbons, methane, and nitrous oxide." Read and repeat until the misinformation campaigns choke on their own fumes.
