Thumbs down: Leading by example 

The Humane Society of Indianapolis was noticeably absent from a recent conference aimed at reducing the number of animals killed by shelters in Indianapolis. While other leaders from animal shelters and rescue groups, including Indianapolis Animal Care and Control found time to participate, and thus seek a solution to the city’s pet over-population problem, neither Director Martha Boden nor any other representative of HSI took part.
