The toaster is toast

So, you may have addressed this before, but I just discovered you! Lots of places take lots of stuff to recycle but I haven't found one advertising that they can take small deceased appliances such as toasters, blow dryers, coffee makers, etc. Any help finding a place would be much appreciated. I would like to put it out to our online neighborhood website.

Welcome, Dana!

So, you’re wondering what to do when your toaster is — well, toast. My go-to recycler of all things electronic is RecycleForce

They are located on Indy’s near Eastside and are way more than just a recycling facility. RecycleForce provides comprehensive services, including workforce training and support, to formerly incarcerated individuals. Their outcomes are inspiring and their service to our community is invaluable. RecycleForce’s friendly recycling drive-through will accept anything with a cord, plus other recyclables like metal, cardboard, paper, plastics, and glass.

If the near east side of Indianapolis isn’t convenient to your neighborhood, use the Indiana Recycling Coalition EcoPoint to find an electronics recycler near you.

Piece out,
