The Rape of Europa lecture and screening
Robert Edsel, co-producer of The Rape of Europa, about Nazi appropriation of artwork prior to and during WWII and efforts by the Allies to re-appropriate or otherwise preserve such works, is a guest of honor this year of the schools of art, law and business at IUPUI. He'll lecture about the film and his own book on the subject, The Monument Men, on Nov. 7 at Herron School of Art + Design; The Rape of Europa screens Oct. 24, also at Herron.
