The cost of war: nearly 100 Hoosier lives

"

Remembering those who served

In March of 2007, on the three-year anniversary of the war in Iraq, we listed the names and brief stories of those soldiers from Indiana who have died since the military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq began (NUVO “The Cost of War,” March 14-20).

Ten more young men from Indiana have died since then.

In total, 96 men and one woman from Indiana have died thus far.
