Takei takes his shot at Indiana's RFRA

Actor and LGBTQ rights activist George Takei is speaking out against Indiana's Religious Freedom Restoration Act. The actor, who portrayed the iconic "Sulu" on the original Star Trek series attends various fan conventions, including GenCon, the annual gaming convention held in Indianapolis.

GenCon officials announced earlier today they would seriously consider moving the convention elsewhere if Gov. Pence signs Senate Bill 101 into law.

In the following Facebook post, Takei echoed the sentiment, saying he would not visit Indiana for GenCon or anything else, and would take his fans with him.

Takei spoke to a sold out crowd at Clowes Memorial Hall at Butler University last month as a part of their Celebration of Diversity Distinguished Lecture Series.
