Sufferin’ Styrofoam

Blocks, peanuts, packing material — where to take it?

Several of us have a supply of Styrofoam we want to take someplace for recycling. Styrofoam blocks, peanuts, packing material are some of the different types of Styrofoam we have accumulated.

Places hosting ecycling days don't take it, curbside companies don't take it, etc.

Suggestions will be appreciated.

I do have some in-foam-ation for you.

Heritage Materials Management will accept block packaging foam (no glue or metals attached) for recycling during business hours (M-F, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.). There is a yellow bin inside their gate at 1102 Roosevelt Ave., Indianapolis.

Pak Mail locations will accept packing peanuts and loose fill.

Many of The UPS Store locations will accept packaging peanuts for reuse.

iSOLD It, the online selling service in Fishers, also accepts all forms of packing materials for reuse.

Piece out,
