After Donald Trump officially named Mike Pence as his pick for VP this morning, a mad dash to file paperwork by those looking to potentially claim his seat followed. Indiana, meet your new Republican governor possibilities: 

Lieutenant Governor Eric Holcomb is in.  
 
Official statement: 
INDIANAPOLIS – Lt. Governor Eric Holcomb issued this statement after he filed paperwork with the Indiana Secretary of State to withdraw his candidacy for Lt. Governor on this year’s ballot as a result of the vacancy created by Governor Mike Pence removing his name from the ballot for governor earlier today:


“Now that Governor Pence has withdrawn from the ballot for governor, I am withdrawing from the ballot for Lt. Governor in order to seek the Office of Governor.”
So is Rep. Susan Brooks. 

And so is Rep. Todd Rokita: 


House Speaker Brian Bosma is out: 


And former Gov. Mitch Daniels gave a firm no yesterday.
