After Speaker Bosma pulled a bait and switch, the House Elections and Apportionment Committee listened to over 4 hours worth of testimony yesterday before voting 9 to 3 in favor of moving HJR-3 onto the House for another vote. Pictured above: Carol Trexler, who received chemotherapy for lung cancer before heading to the Statehouse Wednesday, says challenges in dealing with medical decisions and end-of-life issues for her and her partner are a constant stress and challenge. She asked lawmakers to vote against HJR 3 so as not exacerbate these challenges.
