For those unfamiliar with Brew Bracket, it works like this: Sixteen of Indiana's finest craft brewers gather at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and bring their best brew. Over 300 participants judge these brews in a blind taste test and then vote on their favorite. In the end, there can be only one winner, picked through fan voting. Full info is at BrewBracket.com.

Saturday's event was a blast, with cold beer and a lot of good people. And more cold beer. Everyone was in good spirits as they sampled and voted, sampled and walked, sampled and ate, or just sampled. With 16 brewers represented, there was plenty of sampling to do.

The brewers and their delicious entries were:
Barley Island Brewing Company — Sheet Metal Blonde
Bloomington Brewing Company - Vision Weiss
Bier Brewery - Bier Wheat
Bulldog Brewing Co. - Down Time
Cutters — Monon Wheat
Flat 12 Bierwerks - Hop B'Bomb
Fountain Square Brewing Company - Cosmic Joy
Half Moon Restaurant and Brewery - Summer Wheat
Peoples Brewing Company - Farmer's Daughter
Power House Brewing Company — Power House Wheat
RAM Restaurant and Brewery - Currants and Cloves
Rock Bottom Downtown Restaurant and Brewery — El Jefe
Triton Brewing Company - Dry Hopped Fieldhouse Wheat
Twisted Crew Brewing Company - Eazy Peazy Lemon Squeezy
Upland Brewing Company - Upland Wheat

A tiny two-vote difference separated first from second place, with Barley Island Brewing company and their Sheet Metal Blonde taking home first prize, and Rock Bottom Brewery (Downtown) taking second with their almost-equally delicious El Jefe wheat.
