Slideshow: 2012 Indiana State Fair still going strong

The second weekend of the state was possibly the strongest, with beautiful weather drawing out heavy crowds for the weekend.
There was plenty to do and see, with cheerleading competitions, animal shows, 4-H exhibits and so much more. Free concerts kept everyone jamming, while on the midway there were rides, food and fun. With the beautiful weather, it was packed with fairgoers sampling a little bit of everything from deep fried Oreos and Twinkies to jumbo turkey legs.
For the less curious, there was pumpkin carving, flower and vegetable exhibits, an array honey products, and even a live demonstration of spaying and neutering.
