Roots/Rock: Mojo Gumbo, Martin Zellar 

The sound of Louisiana party music will visit Locals Only on Saturday, April 9 when Indy’s Mojo Gumbo celebrates the release of its new CD, “Under the Influence”, a blend of Zydeco, Cajun, New Orleans funk, R&B and blues

"Locals Only because is where we first played together as Mojo Gumbo, back in October of 2007,” said band leader Mike Brown.

Warming up the crowd for the band at 8:30 p.m. will be Andra Faye of Sapphire, the Uppity Women of Blues, backed by an all star band.

Legendary Minnesota roots rocker and Gear Daddies leader Martin Zeller is offering a self-titled CD, with 2,500 numbered and signed, as a limited edition release. No further copies will be printed, and it will not be made available digitally. The money raised will be used to finish Martin’s full-length studio release which will hit stores on May 3rd.
