The Ninth Annual Rocky Ripple Festival will open up its small-town doors Sept. 27 at Hohlt Park from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. It’s an all-ages festival, with games and activities for the kids, artists selling their wares and lots of food and beverages — including beer from the Broad Ripple Brew Pub. Artists include Dan Axler (photo magnets), Bernadette Ostrozovich (whimsical ornate art) and Chris and Megan Wright (pottery and ceramics). Live music will feature blues, rock and reggae and include Hyryder, Jethro Easyfields and the Arrowheads, KikAxe, The Kyle Hurd Band and Rocky Ripple’s own Day Job Blues. Hohlt Park is centered in the Rocky Ripple neighborhood, around eight blocks west of the corner of Meridian and 52nd streets. For more info: www.rockyripple.com.
