RiffTrax Live: 'Plan 9 from Outer Space'

Love to make fun of movies? We do. And the crappier the movie the more fun can be had. For the veterans from Mystery Science Theater 3000, making fun of bad movies is, well, a science. MST stars Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy (Tom Servo) and Bill Corbett (Crow T. Robot) will be reunited in high definition for the first time ever on the big screen for an evening of live fun-making from the Belcourt Theater in Nashville, Tenn. Their target? Plan 9 from Outer Space, the 1959 science fiction/horror bomb by Edward D. Wood Jr., which is known as the worst movie ever made. The riffing is Aug. 20, 8 p.m. at Castleton Square 14, Galaxy 14, Indianapolis Showplace with IMAX and Hamilton 16 (in Noblesville). For more on the event: www.ncm.com/Fathom.
