Q: What are you reading now?
A: Who the heck has time to read right now?

Q: What do you like about the Indianapolis art scene?
A: There are finally some interesting, fresh and innovative things happening in our city that keep me from trekking to Chicago every time I need my inspiration juiced. It’s encouraging to see businesses getting in on it, too!

Q: What don’t you like?
A: That we can’t all just get along within the arts community … and make the art scene here better with collaboration.

Q: What inspires you?
A: More than anything else? Human nature. Truly.

Q: Drug of choice?
A: PMS 612.

Q: Who’s your favorite politician?
A: Nelson Mandela.

Q: What’s the hardest thing about what you do?
A: Not taking my work too seriously. Letting go has always been my biggest struggle.

Q: What’s your favorite TV commercial at the moment?
A: Not sure right now I have a favorite. The ad campaign that has made an indelible impression, however, is the identity theft campaign by Citibank. Love the “there’s plenty of Larry to go around.”

Q: Three people you’d invite to dinner?
A: Betty, Steve and Todd.

Q: Can love be pornographic?
A: Maybe not every time … but discipline can certainly be amusing. Hmmm … can it not be?
