Does Indianapolis have a gun control problem (Hoppe, “Video Games or Guns,” Dec. 20-27)? I’m not sure. But I’m certain it does not have a violent video game problem. By painting gaming as a corrupter of youth, Peterson seems to be making a fear play for loyalty of adult voters. His plan might backfire: According to the Entertainment Software Association, the average video game player is 33 years old.
