'Peace Coffeehouse'

The Indy Artists’ Peace Project includes Indiana-based artists who dedicate their work to the cause of nonviolence and social justice. “Peace Coffeehouse 2” will be a celebration featuring music, poetry, storytelling, food and fellowship. Special guest is folk singer/songwriter Everett McKee, a former soldier in the Iraq war now devoted to speaking out against the war in words and music. Other performers include poet Jeff Matheus, choral ensemble Encore Vocal Arts, storyteller Marshall Gibson and Christian singer/songwriter Andrew Cornelius. This happens Nov. 3, 6-8 p.m. at First Mennonite Church, 4602 Knollton Road. Admission is free and there will be free coffee, tea and food.
