Three couples at various stages of life face the joys and jolts of impending parenthood in the Tony-nominated musical Baby, running Oct. 20-28 at the University of Indianapolis.
The story involves three couples on a college campus who find themselves expecting children: two college students just starting their adult lives; two 30-somethings who have had trouble conceiving; and a middle-aged couple with grown children who find themselves starting over after an unexpected night of passion.
The UIndy production is a joint venture by the music and theater departments and includes a vocal ensemble and live orchestra.
Performances are Fridays-Saturdays at 8 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22 in Ransburg Auditorium, 1400 E. Hanna Ave. Tickets are $8. For reservations and information, call 317-788-3251 or go to http://theatre.uindy.edu/boxoffice.php.
