Occupy Miami (Slideshow) 

While attending the Society of Environmental Journalists conference last month in Miami, the local Occupy movement took its protest directly to the journalists.
Occupy Miami is quite the party, complete with a full drum set and hand-held percussion instruments.
The air smelled of sweat and patchouli — an intoxicating mix!
As in all Occupy movements, world wide, a variety of issues are represented.
There was a modicum of media coverage on site.

This young gentleman, named Nathan, wears a mask in protest of the local electric company, whose develop threatens the environment.
Caught here with her eyes closed, Stephani McMillan, creator of the comics, Code Green and Minimum Security, shows her love for nature.
