NUVO live: Indy Eleven vs. Rowdies 

Indy Eleven are looking to capture their first victory of the young season as they face the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Pre-game notes:

- Coach Juergen Sommer elects to keep the same starting lineup as he fielded in the inaugural game of the season.

- Ben Spencer misses his 2nd consecutive game as he's still playing with the U-20 National Team. He's scored 3 goals in 3 appearances with the team.

- Eleven forward Mike Ambersley played for the Rowdies from 2011-2013, he makes his first start against his former team tonight. Starting lineups:

7' - First real chance for Eleven as Kleberson can't connect on a pass to Ramirez

13' - Best chance for the Rowdies yet, Estridge works hard on defense to track back and cover. Goal kick

15' - Offsides on Tampa Bay, get accustomed to hearing that tonight.

16' - Eleven shot trickles just wide of a diving Pickens. Goal kick

18' - Kleberson shot hits the bar from 30 yards out, great pressure from the Eleven.

21' - Another foul in the midfield, physical game from both sides early on

22' - Russel shot on goal for Rowdies, Nicht tips it over the bar, corner kick

23' - Corner drops in the box but is cleared quickly

25' - Hristov connects on a through ball and should have finished it. Great save by Nicht

26' - Another shot from Hristov, another save from Nicht

27' - More pressure in the Eleven final third, Rowdies looking more and more dangerous

30' - Cross headed away, Eleven's first corner

30' - Corner is taken too early, goal disallowed.

33' - Tampa Bay corner, taken short - nothing coming of it.

35' - Great buildup play leads to a Kleberson shot, no power in it though and Pickens smoothers it.

38' - Headed shot from Frimpong, Nicht easily there.

40' - Hill shot on goal from 8 yards out, should be 1-0. Nicht again strong to deflect.

42' - Pickens beats Ambersley to a through ball, both teams getting good chances now

44' - Another Eleven foul, this one garners some groans from the crowd. Rowdies spending a lot of time on the ground.

45' - 1 minute of stoppage time

45' - Free kick left side, outside the box - wasted

Halftime whistle blows and both teams will trot into the locker room with work to do. Score knotted at zero.

46' - Teams are back on the pitch and the 2nd half is underway

46' - Pedro Mendez starts the 2nd half in replace of Corrado

48' - Goal Tampa Bay, Morales down injured. Play continues and Brian Shriver slots it past Nicht. Assist to Blake Wagner

50' - Morales back on the pitch following the injury

51' - Free kick after a Rowdie foul, six Eleven in the box. Ramirez takes but it's cleared easily

55' - Another cross into the box from the Eleven goes by the wayside.

58' - Yellow card, first of the game - Georgi Hristov

61' - Better from the Eleven now, Gomez sends a ball into the box, shots off the mark though

63' - Tampa Bay coach Ricky Hill angry at something, possibly the lack of possession since the goal, rips his jacket off

65' - Another foul, this time on Kleberson who shows some displeasure after the call

70' - 10,241 official attendance as Eleven get their best opportunity of the 2nd half on a low cross that forces a sliding interception from a Tampa Bay defender.

72' - Tampa Bay substitution: Lucky Mkosona on for Wagner

73' - Free kick to Eleven, taken by Kleberson, hits the left post....still 1-0

75' - Shots coming in waves now, this time Pickens dives but it goes wide left

78' - Eleven substitution: Dylan Mares on for Corby Moore

80' - Yellow card - Blake Wagner draws some cheers from the crowd

81' - Tampa Bay substitution - Keith Savage on for Anthony Wallace

81' - INDY ELEVEN GOAL - Erick Norales, assist from Dylan Mares (on for only 3 minutes) 1-1

More on the goal: Quick buildup after substitution catches the back line off guard, Mares picked the ball up outside the box, through ball to the first side where Norales slotted it past Pickens

86' - Mares makes a promising run but doesn't make a pass, turns it over

87' - Kleberson with a great chance for a winner but his shot once again goes wide, hasn't been his night.

88' - Yellow card - Lucky Mkosana

91' - Another chance for the Eleven to get a winner, can't get it fall

That's it as the final whistle blows, 1-1 final score.

- This story has an updated cutline for the pep band's photo. A previous version said the band was from Ball State when, in fact, the Red Card Regiment is dedicated 100 percent to Indy Eleven support.
