Pre-game notes:

Eleven are fresh off their first victory as a program after defeating the Dayton Dutch Lions in the 3rd round of the US Open Cup. The Eleven will face MLS side Columbus Crew on June 17th in the 4th round. The Eleven sit 10th in the NASL standings with an 0-3-4 record. They're looking to record their first victory of the season in league play.

The Scorpions defeated the NTX Rayados in their last game, also a 3rd round match in the U.S Open Cup. They boast a 4-1-2 record on the season for 13 points, putting them tied with the New York Cosmos for 2nd in the standings. San Antonio has scored 9 goals in the 7 games but have only given up 6.

Referee Chris Penso blows his whistle and we're underway at Michael Carroll Stadium

1' - Ambersley attempts to catch Scorpion backline off guard by chasing down a deep long ball but it's too long and trickles out for a goal kick

2' - First chance for San Antonio as Restrepo made a run into the 18 box, left it off for Touray who took a weak shot forcing Nicht to make a simple save to his right

3' - Brad Ring picks up the game's first foul, Bingham takes the free kick

5' - Hyland sends a dangerous ball into the box but Corrado misplays it allowing San Antonio to recover and clear

7' - Corrado issued a yellow card for a rash tackle

10' - First Scorpions foul, Nicht takes free kick; slow pace to the game so far

13' - Fouls aplenty in the first 15 minutes, both teams taking their merry time taking them

14' - Restrepo dribbles right past Hyland into the box and shoots from a tough angle and six yards out right. Nicht knocks it down and it's cleared.

16' - Free kick sent into the box where Estridge got a solid header on it but directly into the arms of Bingham

16' - Forbes counters right back with a deep run and cross into the box, cleared for a corner by Hyland

17' - Near goal: corner whipped into the area where Touray heads it on goal, Nicht with a diving save to tap it over the goal for another corner.

19' - Offsides on Touray, who shows his displeasure for the call

20' - Trainer called out to look at Nicht but he stays in the game

23' - Yellow card issued to Scorpions' Forbes

24' - Norales gets a cross into the box but it's a simple clearance for the Scorpions

28' - Ambitious shot from Hyland from 35 yards out goes well over the goal

30' - Restrepo with a prayer of a volley from way out see Nicht watch it as it goes well wide

32' - Norales with a great chance from 6 yards out but his header from a corner goes over the bar

33' - Ambersley goes down hard, foul is called but he wants more

34' - Ensuing free kick by Moore is sent directly into the wall

38' - Another minute, another foul; chippy game with a short whistle from the referee tonight

42' - First chance in awhile as Zahorski made a run into the box and got a clear shot at goal, Nicht makes a bobbling save before falling and securing it.

43' - Yellow card issued to Brad Ring

45' - Hyland goes down in obvious pain after a foul on Restrepo. Gets up with a few choice words for him.

After one minute of stoppage time Penso blows his whistle for halftime. A sloppy first 45' from both squads that featured few quality chances and a lot of fouls.

48' - Touray again called for an offsides and sticks around to have a word with the referee 50' - Moore sends a blistering corner into the box but it's headed away yet again

51' - Chance for Zahorski but he miss hits it over the bar

52' - Goal San Antonio: Restrepo with a plethora of space in the box passes to Forbes who calmly slots it past Nicht. 0-1 San Antonio

59' - First Eleven substitution: Don Smart on for Estridge

61' - Eleven corner is taken cleanly by Bingham, who has rarely been tested tonight

62' - Tempers starting to flare as both teams engage in a shoving match outside the Eleven box
