It was a solid weekend for the NUVO sponsored bicycling team — the BISSELL-ABG-GIANT crew (check out our cute li'l NUVO logo on their jerseys) finds themselves in third place in the point standings after the opening weekend of the Pro World Tour.

The Alabama event this past weekend included a crit and a road race — and a development in the latter that's got us pretty stoked: Thomas Revard, a Cat 1 rider out of Carmel, Indiana, took fourth in the Fort McClellan Road Race. This is the future of the team — Mr. Revard is all of 18 years old.

USA Cycling's Facebook page is also a decent clearinghouse for info and race results — lotsa links can be found therein.

The next event on the national cycling circuit is the Redlands Bicycle Classic, which runs April 6-10. You can watch streaming video of the races here. Take that, ESPN!

Remember: NUVO's own criterium event, the MAC, rolls into Indy again this August. Check our FB page for updates.
