Forget Fiddler on the Roof
. Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad mixes comedy, spoken word, music and burlesque, all presented by performers who have paid their dues on Comedy Central and HBO. The Village Voice

The Girls describe themselves as "Faster Pussycat in the Borscht Belt, 'Bei Mir Bist Du Schoen' gets remixed, Tumbalaika gets a makeover and we all find out what's in Gefilte Fish." The troupe features comedian Cynthia Levin, Ophira Eisenberg and booty shakin' by Sister Schmaltz and is hosted by queen of the quick change, The Goddess Perlman. The nationally touring ensemble stops at Birdy's, 2131 E. 71st St., Sept. 2 for a show at 9 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
