Central State Brewing’s big news,” reports co-founder/brewer Josh Hambright, “is the launch of House Beer in 4-pack, 16-ounce cans, in all three of our markets (Indiana, Kentucky and Chicago). This is a rustic blonde ale brewed in the style of French and Belgian style table beers, with lots of flavor packed into low ABV. Spicy rye notes play with the yeast character from this 100% Brett fermented beer. The hops for this beer will slowly evolve over time ensuring each batch allows something new to be discovered while still retaining common threads. From time to time we also use house as a base beer for new and experimental beers, you can find more information about these variants here.”

Indiana City, new on tap, Dock Seven IPA. At 7.5% ABV and 75 IBUs this “is an American IPA with strong fresh hop aroma and flavor, copper in color with a bright white head that creates beautiful lacing on the glass—a hop-heads dream come true,” according to founder/brewer Ray Kamstra.

Thr3e Wise Men
’s newest brew, Spitball IPA, is an “amped up version of our original Spitball IPA, hopped with Amarillo and Simcoe with lots of citrus and big hop character at 7ABV, 50 IBUs,” according to head brewer Keely Tomlinson.
