Local rockers Stereo Deluxe will perform live this Saturday at Birdy's at 9 p.m., recording their first live album. Stereo Deluxe was the 2005 Indianapolis 'Battle of the Bands' Grand Prize winners. Indiana rocker Henry Lee Summer unfortunately had his most rock 'n\' roll moment in years this past week. Summer got drunk and drove his SUV through a mobile home court and repeatedly ran into cars and trucks and hit one mobile home. He then proceeded to drop an elbow on a police officer\'s head, which resulted in Summer getting tasered. Needless to say, he was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, resisting arrest and failing to stop after an accident ... Willie Nelson, scheduled to release his new album "Songbird" on Oct. 31 produced by Ryan Adams, was arrested on Monday for possession of marijuana and narcotic mushrooms. His tour bus was pulled over and when searched, troopers found nearly two pounds of marijuana and .2 pounds of mushrooms. ... Producer Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, Beck, Travis) is launching a new television show in the U.K. called "From the Basement." Thom Yorke, the White Stripes, and Beck are all scheduled to perform.
