Mr. Cha Cha lights it up

According to evolutionary biologist David Sloan Wilson at New York's Binghamton University, how you decorate your house for the holidays says something positive about neighborliness where you live. If this is true, entrepreneur Scott Jones, the man responsible for the information retrieval service Cha Cha, is feeling especially neighborly this year. Jones has decorated his estate in Carmel with 34,000 animated "smart LEDs" to create "a Blizzard of Digital Animated Lighting Delights." Produced by Jones' latest company, Galaxia, Inc., Jones proclaims that this "landmark technology and displays bring three centuries of lighting together in a flash as old holiday traditions and technologies meld." You can see for yourself by checking out the Scott A. Jones estate at 1150 W. 116th St. in Carmel.
