Milktooth's Jonathan Brooks named one of Food & Wine's Best New Chefs

someone nearby. Yes, the mayor of Hipster Mayberry is finally receiving his due. Food & Wine magazine has just named their Best New Chefs of 2015, and our hometown boy, Jonathan Brooks, owner and chef of Milktooth, has been named one of the top honorees.  Congratulations, Chef! 

While we normally hate to say we told you so, this is certainly not one of those times. We've been picking up what Brooks has been putting down since he opened Milktooth back in October. 

Here's our most recent piece on Mr. Brooks and his famous reaper sauce, which he makes in house and barrel-ages for maximum flavor. It is these kinds of touches that win Food & Wine accolades. 

Brooks has made waves for inventive uses of ingredients while remaining true to the good flavors of carefully produced ingredients.
