Master ceramicist at Eiteljorg 

James Watkins, one of the premier ceramicists in the country known for his visually amazing double-walled caldrons and platters, will be in residence Feb. 5-10 at the Eiteljorg Museum. Watkins will work with visiting school groups, conduct a public raku firing using a raku kiln and offer a lecture on his work. Watkins will take part in artists demonstrations Feb. 5, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; do pot firing in a raku kiln Feb. 10, 10:30 a.m.; give a lecture and booksigning Feb. 10, 2:30 p.m.; and examine the results of the pot firing Feb. 10, 4 p.m. For more information, call 317-275-1352.
